Helena Cheng
Workshop Facilitator & Community Studio Artist
Helena Cheng is a Toronto-based multidisciplinary artist and recent graduate of OCAD University’s Inclusive Design program. Originally from Hong Kong, Helena blends visual storytelling, installation art, and participatory design to create interactive works that connect people through shared experiences. Her creative journey spans animation, motion graphics, and community installations. Helena’s passion lies in transforming everyday spaces into sites of connection and wonder. In a time where digital fatigue and social isolation are increasingly common, she believes art, especially public and participatory art, is more essential than ever. It offers a rare moment to pause, gather, and feel something real, together.
