Vanita (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Toronto. She has appeared as a circus artist and stilt dancer for Hercinia Arts Collective, Zero Gravity Circus, les Chasseurs de Rêves, Grand Salto Theatre, and Little Dada. Her creation and choreography has been seen at Theatre Direct’s Forward March Festival, Arts in the Parks, the fringe Festival of Independent Dance Artists, Toronto Nuit Blanche, Lunacy Cabaret, Toronto International Buskerfest, and In the Soil Arts Festival. Parallel to her performance practice, Vanita has also worked as a technical director and stage manager in theatre and circus at the Toronto Fringe Festival, Summerworks, Springworks, Toronto Sketchfest and Montreal Clown Festival.
